College Ends
Worries are hardly any
Morning 8 is still too early
We grab a note and start all late
And make up an excuse yet again
Exams come in every other day
Who cares ! results r jus the same
We pick up on one, and tease him lots
Oh, wat fun, that’s for us all !!
We go to malls and rate all chicks
Hog in restraunts, leave not a dish
Photos it is, everywhere we go
Look at our poses, d creativity shows !
We celebrate birthdays. Sharp at 12
Give heart felt wishes, and kick him so well.
Anything one does, we demand a “treat”
He better give it, theres nowhere to flee
We go on tours. In bus we shout and yell
and do all crazy stuff, I better not tell
But not forever would all this last,
Looks like a satan somewhere laughs
For all this waits an abrupt end
And I wonder, if I could say these, ever again-
“Worries are hardly any
Morning 8 is still too early
We grab a note and start all late
And make up an excuse yet again”
My first lessons with Blues
I went to a guitar class and it was amazing !!! I told him I wanted to learn blues and the teacher so much loved teaching ”blues”… That was his favorite and he hadn”t had many people asking him to teach blues…
It was a great one and half hour session with him… went like jamming and interviewing… I would ask him questions, lots of them, and he”d play and explain
He was telling me what was very important in blues, and that was great to learn…
Phrasing:
Each blues song has a lot of “phrasing” involved. Like how in English we make sentences, using phrases, blues songs are made up of phrases ! And they contribute a lot to the “uniqueness” or the “style” of an artist…
eg: BB king, the blues guitarist, plays it with a lot of “pause”… like in wind instruments, how the players pause to take a breath, BB king kinda does the same pause here.. after every few seconds in his playing (read: after each phrase) there would be a pause, and that, would help in registering the tune in the listeners mind !
Slow:
I also found, how its not about playing so many notes in quick succession, but just playing a few notes, yet with a lot of feeling… He made me go slower and slower, and certain notes I had to play with a very soft touch to create a fade-out kinda sound…
Exploring:
After I came back home I was so excited to realise that I can do my own phrases ! Simple ones, but still, I can do them. Tried out a lot of that also
) . What is great about “blues” is that, it is a genre that is so close to “talking”… The music sounds almost like a “talk”… So even if I can think of an accentuated talk, in a good rhythm, it sounds pretty bluesy !
listen sometime to this song : (How blue can you get, BB king)
Coorg by the morning

Coorg by the Morning
After the fog cleared away, at about 6:30 in the morning, we were able to see what Coorg was like !
Mysore Palace

Mysore Palace, India, at Night
Me and my friends were on our way to Coorg, for a tour. And on our way we stopped by to see the brilliantly lighted Mysore Palace…

Swimming and skating

But when am I gonna do dem?
I dont hav a clue
I’d take a brisk walk
happily in the rain
